What is Cary?

Cary is a personal AI assistant operated by Field Elevate Management LLC. Cary helps you organize tasks, set reminders, manage your schedule, and follow through on work you ask Cary to handle.

SMS Opt-In Data and Messaging Consent Data

No mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent data will be shared, sold, rented, bought, or disclosed to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. This includes your phone number, the fact that you opted in, the timestamp of your consent, and the text of reminders sent through the Cary SMS reminder program.

All categories of data described elsewhere in this policy exclude SMS opt-in data and messaging consent data. We do not use that data for advertising, affiliate marketing, lead generation, or promotional resale.

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address and display name used for authentication and personalization.
• Google account data: if you connect Google, Cary may access Gmail messages, Gmail labels or message state, and Google Calendar events only to provide the assistant features you request.
• Reminder content:the text of reminders you create, such as "Pick up kids at 3:30 PM."
• Phone number: collected only when you enter it for account contact purposes or when you separately opt in to SMS reminder notifications.
• SMS consent record: when you opt in to SMS, we record the consent text shown, the time of consent, the phone number, and technical request details such as IP address and user-agent for compliance proof.

How We Use Google Gmail and Calendar Data

Cary uses Google OAuth only after you choose to connect your Google account. Gmail access lets Cary list, search, display, summarize, and help manage your own messages or threads when you ask. Calendar access lets Cary show your schedule and create, update, or delete calendar events only when you ask Cary to do so.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties for marketing, profiling, or unrelated purposes. Cary uses Google data only to provide or improve user-facing assistant features, comply with law, protect against abuse, or provide user-requested support.

How We Use Your Phone Number

Saving a phone number in Cary is not the same as opting in to SMS. Cary sends SMS reminder notifications only after you separately opt in through the public SMS opt-in page at cary.com/sms-opt-in by entering your phone number, actively checking the unchecked SMS consent checkbox, and completing the 6-digit verification code.

We do not use your phone number for marketing, promotions, advertising, affiliate offers, lead generation, or any third-party promotional purpose.

SMS Carrier and Service-Provider Disclosure

SMS messages are delivered through Twilio, our communications service provider and carrier delivery processor. When you opt in to SMS reminders, your phone number and message content pass through Twilio solely to deliver the messages you requested. Twilio may not use Cary SMS data for its own marketing or promotional purposes. Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

SMS Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies based on how many reminders you create. You will receive SMS messages only for reminders you explicitly set in Cary. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any Cary SMS reminder. You can get help by replying HELP or by contacting help@cary.com. Opting out of SMS does not close your Cary account.

Data Retention

Your account information and reminder content are retained while your account is active. SMS opt-in proof records are retained as compliance records unless deletion is required by law. You can request account deletion by contacting us.
